Ride to Hawkesbury for coffee

Ride to Hawkesbury for coffee

It was a bitter cold Sunday afternoon in November 2007, it was cloudy and minus 6 with the wind chill and when you are riding at 100kms an hour the wind bites right into your bones when you are riding a motorcycle! Our destination was Hawkesbury, Ontario our departure was from Casselman, Ontario. Needless to say when we arrived in Hawkesbury we were more than happy to see a Tim's Horton. Just a glance and signal to my brother-in-law my fellow biker and he knew exactly what I meant. The good folks in the Tim's took care of us and served fresh hot piping coffee, the firs sip was good! It actually sent a rush of heat inside my frozen body, it felt like a layer of ice melted off me right there and then. Thanks to Hawkesbury Tim Horton's for the smile and great service!
