I'm In The Club

It may seem odd for a non-coffee drinker to be sending a fan letter to Tim Hortons but here it is. For years I envied those sublimely happy-looking Tim Hortons coffee drinkers clutching those ubiquitous brown Tims cups - members of a select club a club I could never join because I dont drink coffee. Then one day the heavens opened, the angels descended and Tims steeped tea was born. Now, I too am a member of that sublimely happy club of people walking, driving or sitting with my own brown Tims cup. And mine contains the most wonderful, decadent, well-made cup of steeped tea I could ever hope to drink - and Im a connoisseur. A soggy tea bag on a string dangling in a cup was never my cup of tea. Now, with my little Tims gift card that I received at Christmas, I can visit the drive-through just like everybody else. Large steeped tea with milk, please! Whos that lady with the glazed look in her eyes and the huge satisfied smile on her face? Its me. Thank you Timmy for steeped tea!
