I brought a coffee maker, one of the 1st gifts for my fiance who lives approximately 3 hours away from where I live. I brought this coffee maker less than 2 years before it became defective. There was a hugh crack on the bottom of the burner much to our surprise as neither of us hit or banged the coffee maker.I called your company and spoke to a client manager and told her of the situation. I was still under the warranty but my receipt had since faded. She told me I had two choices, either send the coffee maker directly to the company for replacement or take it where I brought it and see if they would replacement it themselves. Going without this wonderful coffee maker for any length of time was reasons for a panic attack so I went to the store where I purchased it and spoke with the manager. I was informed by the manager that if I brought the coffee maker in, they would replace it. Just like that, no hassel about why it broke, my receipt which number has disappeared, just a positive reponse to bring it in and it would be replaced. I was ready for a confrontation but was pleasantly surpised when all I received was a polite response. Nevertheless, my fiance, stated that if I didn't arrive with another coffee maker, after leaving his place with the broken but still useuable one, I would be sleeping in my vehicle. The happying ending, we are both enjoying the coffee maker and I got to sleep in the house that night Thank You for the excellent no-hassel service in the replacement of this wonderful coffee maker.
