Serving coffee at Kandahar Airfield

In 2008, I had the honor to travel to Afghanistan to work at Kandahar Airfield with Canadian Forces Personal Support Agency. One of the main locations we worked at on camp was Tim Horton's. This photograph shows us posing in front of the Tim's 'trailer'. Of course we're all smiles! What a fabulous opportunity and experience! Having a Tim's there is such a boost to the troops, and not only Canadians! Soldiers and civilian workers from all over the world visited the store every day, sometimes three and four times, for our famous coffee, donuts, muffins and bagels. French Vanilla and Iced Cappuccino were especially popular with the foreign soldiers. Thank you, Tim Horton's, for supporting our service men and women in Afghanistan!

Hello, Kandahar Airfield! My father was stationed at the airbase and got coffee frequently during his full days and nights of work. He purchased a coffee mug that said KANDAHAR AIRBASE AFGHANISTAN O*E*F. He recently dropped the mug and was very saddened that his mug broke. I am looking to replace the mug and give it to him as a surprise for his birthday. Is there a way I can purchase one of these mugs? Please contact me back via email. I would really appreciate your help.
