i really love my timmies. I moved back to nfld with my 2 boys along the way all i kept looking for was that sign your friend along the way without it i would never have made it. I had lots from Ontario to North Sydney, when we got to the boat to cross over to nfld i parked the car in the lineup and walked to timmies to get my coffee and fill my thermos for the boat trip home. when we got to nfld things weren't so good no timmies where my mom lived Clarenville the closest was Gander 65 kms away roughly. So one Sunday morning i went and picked up mom and asked her if she wanted to go for coffeee,by this time i didnt have timmies for a week. Oh my god what a long week it was,she said sure so away we went i proceeded to the trans canada highway. At the time she said where are you going for coffee? I said it's a surprise and kept driving, an hour later we were there. Mom said you crazy girl who in the world would drive an hour for a stupid coffee?i said me mother dear. i am having a fit without timmies she laughed and said i was nuts ha ha. i probally was.We went inside and enjoyed the best coffee i had in a week. My mom had soup and lemon pie sooo good i just drank as much coffee as i could i knew it would be awhile before i got another one. We spent an hour or so then i filled up 3 thermos full that i brought with me from ont they were filled many many times along the way then we ventured back to Clarenville i had my fix all was good. Mom told everyone how crazy i was over timmies and what i did to get one. It was a topic for a long time anyway time has passed my mom also passed and im back in ontario i miss my mom but i still have my timmies practically in my back yard. And behold they have timmies in Clarenville just my luck its good to know other people dont have to do what i did HURRAY FOR TIMMIES

I remember Mom telling me this story. You're right. She thought you were nuts. Great story :-)
