Imagine a place without Tim Hortons

On June 30th, 2009 I went to Burce peninsula along with my beautiful wife to celebrate my 8th marriage anniversary. As we left early morning, we picked up some Tim Bits and coffee for myself & tea for my wife. We drove 4 hrs and in between stopped at few places before we reached Tobermory to catch our afternoon cruise. When we found out that the city has no Tim Hortons, we were extremely disappointed. We also found out that the closest Tim Hortons is 77Km away !!!!! at a city called Wiarton, ON. Well it was too late; we spent rest of the day and night at North Bruce Peninsula with out a Tim Hortons drink or snack. Next day we left for Sauble beach and on our way we stopped at Tim Hortons at Wiarton (a little out of our way, but it was well worth those extra 20 KM) and purchased coffee, tea and chicken salad sandwich to go (which we craved since previous day). After setting up at the beach we relaxed and enjoyed the Tim Hortons meal like never before. On our way back to Toronto, we again stopped at another Tim Hortons location to have a sit down meal, this time Chicken Noodle soup and donut and tea / coffee combos as our supper. Thank you Tim Hortons to be there and feed us hot and healthy meals. We love you and hope in time to come you open up a seasonal / permanent location in Tobermory, ON.
