The Road to LOVE

A raod trip from Toronto to Saint john New BRunswick in 2008 changed my life forever..My friend and I decided on a whim to drive to NEw Brunswick..well the drive was a fun time..we sang,we laughed we argued..we took in all the breath taking scenes and drank ALOT of Tim Hortons coffee..HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!! We arrived in Saint john and as two single gals really made the most of our one week stay in Saint john... On our last night in Saint john my friend didn't want to go out..feeling too sick from the week of partying and was goin to stay in and try to get sleep to prepare for the trip back to Toronto the next morning..Well i was determined to enjoy my last night out and decided to go out on my own..I jumped in a cab and asked the driver to bring me the nearest pub.. well i arrived and sat at the bar and met some nice people chatted away with them and the bartender...a few hours passed and i decided to go have a cigarette before i called it a night...i went outside and started chatting to a handsome man..we chatted away as we had our smoke..i told him it was my last night and that i was heading back to toronto..well he wished me well and left...i decided to go to the ladies room before i called a cab..as i walked out of the wash room i ran into him again....We laughed at the fact that we bumped into each other AGAIn...i told him i was leaving and just then BON JOVI's song "bed of Roses" came on and he asked me if i wanted to dance..i started to laugh and asked him if he was serious??I couldn't remember the last time a guy asked me to slow dance,,,,then again this was the maritimes and things are alot different...i agreed to dance with him ..how could i not??he was just so kind..so handsome..his eyes told me that this was a sincere "SOUL".we danced and chatted..well its a year later,and i now call SAINT JOHN my home..i moved about 2 weeks after meeting him,and things are WONDERFUL..that was not our lAST dance but the first of an eternity of dances
