TIM HORTONS EMPLYOEE A LIFE SAVER! THANK YOU,THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!

On Sept 3 2011 my fiancee(Chris..also his birthday) and I were on our way home to Espanola from Spanish from visiting friends. About 10 mins before Massey Chris went into a sugar low, he is a severe diabetic and we are fairly new at this. I gave him all the sugar we had in the car but it wasn't enough. He was in and out of conciousness, we were far away from anything that was open where we could get help.I stopped a a motel where we woke up the owner and he gave us the sugar container from his kitchen, the sugar held him but he wasnt getting better, by the time we got to Tim Hortons in Mckerrow Chris was barley concious and I was in a panic! I ran in and asked for juice. Coleen (the employee) who already had customers, stopped everything she was doing and quickly grabbed me an orange juice , I was fumbling for money, Coleen said,"just take it, go, its ok" I managed to get the juice into Chris and not a second too soon. When I finally went back in to the restaurant, I was still in shaking, Coleen was very calm and talked me down to where I was able to focus again. She was professional and caring and we can't thank her enough, she didnt just hand me juice she recognized the severity of the situation and was MY voice of reason in a life threatening situation. I know there is alot of bad in this world but I am proud to live in a community where people still care and aren't afraid to help each other. THANK YOU!!! Chris & Angie
