My Children & I

I walk my children to school every day :) Its a fairly long walk and my children are in grades 3 and 5. To and from school each day we have to pass Tim Horton's and my children never fail to ask to go in for a hot chocolate and a doughnut or cookie, and I never fail to buy it for them. On this one particular day,my 11 yr old son says to me while we're in Tim Horton's waiting to be served, "Mom, I'm buying Hot Chocolate every day so I can try to win you a car(roll up the rim was on at the time) so you don't get tired from walking back and forth to school with us everyday." I smiled at him,but laughed to myself thinking,knowing,that he is the one who gets tired from the long walk each day but was selfless enough to at least pretend to think of me! That was almost a year ago and to this day we still stop at Tim Horton's every school day and he still has his Hot Chocolate,but more so when the roll up to rim contest is on the go LOL
