After my first child, my husband and I had not really determined one way or another if we were going to have another. The first came early, so it was a little risky for a second. But when I suspected I may be pregnant, I decided to do a home test. Only, since I was at work and so impatient, I got one and took it at the local Tim Hortons. It was kind of an unusual place to take the test, but I felt at home enough there - close to work, to take the test. Just had to know.
As I ate my bagel and drank my now decaf coffee - an excitement built inside me as I was anxious to share the good news.
Nine months later the little tyke was born - full term, textbook baby. Great. Over two years later I realized I had indulged in her sweet tooth too much when her first word was “Tim Bit”. She was at home too.
