When my husband and I first met, trying to plan out first date was a bit of a problem. He was a student and worked part time as a waiter so a weekend date was out. We set up our first date for a Tuesday night at 9 pm and drove to a restaurant hoping to have a chance to sit down and get to know each other better. We didn't realize that all the restaurants closed by 10 and were kicked out shortly after stitting down not even having time to order drinks. We ended up driving around looking for someplace warm we could talk on a bitterly cold November night. When we had just about given up we saw a beacon of warmth, Tim Hortons! We headed in and enjoyed getting to know each other talking for hours over coffee and donuts. Timmies was the start of a beautiful thing that has lasted for 10 years of marriage, 5 kids, and cross country move. Timmies isn't just a coffee shop to us it's part of the family! This little guy sure thinks so!
