I was over seas in Dublin Ireland for the Christmas and New Years Holiday in 2010 during their absolute worst winter storm in decades. From where my husband and I were staying with our Disney on Ice tour we had to walk over 2km to buy groceries on the out skirt of the city. The snow was falling in large flakes for over a week consistantly and closed down all public transportation and no streets or sidewalks were cleared. We walked all this way to the store for essentials and by the time we got there our shoes were filled with snow, our fingers and toes were like icicles, and just cold to the bone. Never felt a better taste of home when I saw a Tim Hortons set up inside. Had my usual hot chocolate in the XL size to get my temperature back up, most amazing thing I could have seen being so far away from home. Brought a nice feeling as though I was back in Canada for the Holidays with my family. Love our Canadian heritage. Canada Rocks!!!
