Coming Home

The date was March 19th 2011; I had just stepped off the plane from Salt Lake City Utah to Vancouver British Columbia. As I was patiently waiting for the shuttle bus to pick my parents and I up to take us to our vehicle my mom asked, "Would you like anything from timmies?" As I replied yes asking for a LARGE french vanilla, she went to fulfill the order. She returned with a MEDIUM french vanilla. She apologized for the mix up and I told her not to worry about it. As I slurped up my last sip of deliciousness, I pulled my lid off and threw it into the trash can. I began to roll up the rim, noticing it said winner I became quite exhilarated. Still not knowing what I won I finished rolling and noticed that I had one a $100 Tims Card. I immediately became very excited while my parents became more and more confused. As I showed my parents what I had won, my dad said to me "See everything happens for a reason."
