I'm a gunner with canada's artillery air defense unit in NB and every morning before i go into work i stop into Tims and pick up an extra large 2 milk 2 sugar. Its just your average order to some but for me I take every cup and enjoy it to the best i can. Some would think its just a cup of coffee, like every other cup sold where ever. But to me its not, This order of coffee i got was just that one little piece of home i had while i was deployed in Afghanistan. Everyday i would stand in a long line of people from everywhere in the world just to get a coffee, you would think it being hot there I'd avoid coffee but nope, I bought it anyways didnt matter if it was plus 70 out. Like most Canadians there we enjoyed the coffee that was served to us and not a day goes by that i dont remember the friends i made there who worked at the Tim's who made that one thing that gave me that little bit of home. Thank you Tim Hortons for making my deployment in Afghanistan just that little more better.
