Coffee Petals

The only time I ever gave flowers to my wife was after my first born, 22 years ago. Since then it seems as though coffee was appreciated more than flowers, therefore each visit to Tim's my wife would ask for flowers so I would bring her a Tim Horton's coffee.

Last Valentine's day I loaded up the coffee pot and made a trail of "flower petals" (coffee grinds) from our upstairs bedroom to the kitchen downstairs. When she awoke, she found the coffee petals leading to the kitchen and that made her year. More than 22 years of flowers could ever do to a woman.
