A few years ago, I worked for a security company that had the contract to a mall where there was a 24 hour Tim Horton's; this mall was in Richmond, British Columbia which is my birthplace.
I was to patrol the whole of the mall (a plaza actually, the shops had separate entrances and were not enclosed like in a shopping mall) on a bike and it was during the night time only.
I met a number of interesting people while working at that plaza, especially at the Tim Horton's. I did my best to patrol that whole mall carefully but I also liked to make sure that things were okay at the Tim's because their building was open to the public 24 hours a day while other restaurants only had 24 hour drive-through windows or closed at about 2 am or earlier.
I entered the "Roll up the Rim to Win" contest more than a few times, given that I often had my meals there when on duty (rather than sit in an electrical room).
I was amazed to win a great prize of a Tim's coffee maker kit which included a coffee maker, and tins of coffee etc. along with drinking mugs! That was the best contest win I've ever experienced! Thank you Tim's for the contest, it was nice to win something so great and generous in quality!
