My husband and I had been on the road for awhile when we decided to stop into a well-known Canadian town.
We were longing for a coffee and we drove up and down the streets, searching for our usual coffee destination.
Becoming more and more frustrated, my husband finally wheeled into a gas station and approached the cheerful looking attendant.
"Is there a Tim Hortons' anywhere in town?" he asked wearily.
The young man's eyebrows went up, he gave us a look of mock disbelief, and a grin spread across his face as he flung his hands to his sides.
"Is this Canada?" he laughed.
Ten minutes and two stop lights later we were breathing contented sighs of relief, sipping and savouring our favourite Tim Hortons' coffee.
Ah Canada, Ah Timmies!
