Every Saturday, my daughter (aged 2) and I go to Tim's for a snack before gymnastics. We always get the same order, chocolate milk and 3 chocolate timbits for her and a coffee for me. Kennedy likes to press her nose against the window to look at the donuts while we wait to order. Last Saturday, Kennedy asked tobe lifted onto the counter so she can see the cashier. The lady asked her waht she wanted and Kennedy proudly said "I want chocolate milk please and chocolate donuts." The cashier giggled and then said "And what would Mommy like?" and my daughter said "Mommy want double double". I had not coached her on what to say. It was all her. The cashier and I laughed and so did the ladies waiting in line. One of them said, "looks like the makings of a lifetime customer" and Kennedy heard her and said to her "I come here all da time!". We got our order and went and sat down, then Kennedy said, "mommy double double good?" and I said..."It's perfect, because I'm drinking it with you."
