Our Trip Out West

This past summer of 2011 we traveled from Ottawa, Ontario all the way out to Vancouver, BC. and back again. We were on the road for 3 weeks. It was a wonderful trip and we have wonderful memories. We saw parts of Canada that I thought I would never see in my lifetime. I was with my fiance, my mother, my father and my awesome 2 year old son.

We would drive for about 8 - 12 hours in a day with lots of stops - at Tim Hortons of course for coffees, teas, ice coffees and timbits. Occasionally we would stop in the morning to have breakfast. Your beverages and food helped us on our trip and also made our son happy with timbits on our voyage. I think we probably spent a good $500 at all the Tim Hortons stops...it well worth the money :)

I want to also make note that my fiance and I got married on October 22nd, 2011 - after our reception we hopped in our rented Cadillac and before heading to our hotel room we stopped in at the Tim Hortons at College Square and went through the drive thru for tea. My husband was in his Tux and I was in my wedding gown. The drive thru girl greeted us and handed us our tea and noticed that I was in my wedding dress - she handed us our change and also congratulated us. Even on our wedding day we managed to make it to a location to have our nightly tea.
