Winning a $100 Tim Card, at 14 years old

Roll up the rim, one of my favourite times of the year! Now 15 (birthday shortly after winning) i only get Hot Chocolate, but i still love it! This year though, i wasn't getting very lucky. Din't win a single thing on many cups!! Well, accept for a $100 Tim Card!

Just like any other time going to Tim Hortons, my brother and I were going to see if our neighbours would like to tag along, unfortunately they couldn't. Right before leaving, i tell my mother "I haven't won anything at all this year! Wouldn't it be funny if i won a Tim Card or something?" So of we went! My brother treated me and got us both donuts (sour cream glazed and double chocolate) and Hot Chocolates, his with milk. He finished first and rolled up his rim, "I won a coffee!!" I let out a breath of dissapointed air, how often do you win on 2 cups that were grabbed right after each other? I rolled up my rim and my eyes instantly widened, it said Win, and not just a donut or coffee, it said $100 TIM CARD. My mother didn't even believe me at first, she figured how ironic!

After mailing it in we waited for 6 weeks and it finally arrived a couple days ago actually! I gave it to my mother (heck, how often was i going to Timmy's in comparison to an adult who likes coffee) and have already been treated to a great Hot Chicken Ceaser Wrap combo!

I thank you Tim Hortons for giving my brother the proper cup ;)

This prize was won at the Smithville Tim Hortons location on March 27 (I Think!!)
