My Tim Hortons Birthday and Dining Room

Recently I celebrated my 40th Birthday and around the same time my husband and I were in the process of redecorating our dining room. We were having a lot of trouble deciding on what colours to use. I knew my mom and sisters were planning a birthday "coffee" party for me but I was not aware of the theme. In keeping with what they consider my Tim Horton's Coffee additiction, they decided to plan a "Tim Horton" themed coffee/birthday party. Everything was centered around Tim Hortons from the cake, the decorations and they even had take home bags. Two of the highlights of my party were the beautiful wreath my sister made completely from Tim Horton's cups, and the poem she wrote for me- my favorite verse "The love that she shows flows over the brim, like the addiction she's got for the the coffee at TIM. To get her hands on that stuff, she'd cut off a limb...And get the heck out of the way when it's roll up the rim!" It was pretty clear to me after the party that the perfect colours to do my dining room in were the deep burgandy and creamy latte colours of Tim Hortons coffee cups. I took them in and had the paint colour matched. Everyone laughed at first but they think my dining room is beautiful and it makes a wonderful backdrop to display my new wreath!!
