Several years ago I was involved with the Lunenburg Junior Curling Program. The curlers ranged from ages 7-15 and trying to manage them was like managing rain drops. Usually midway through the Saturday morning practice someone would go over to Tims to refurbish the coach's patience. The kids would then have a three end game and we would sit back and relax. During one session I noticed that a strange looking rock coming from one of the curlers. I could't figure out what it was. It looked like a piece of tape on the handle. Finally after a a couple of ends I went down to the sheet only to find out that one of the curlers had wrapped a rosary around the rock handle. I asked him what he was doing..."Don't you know that ever time you throw that rock that you're burning the rock". He replied "No...every time I throw the rock I'm throwing a hail Mary"
