I used to work the overnight shift at a hotel, and of course Tim's played a big part in the success or failure of that shift. Despite the fact that we had free coffee on tap in the staff room, one of the cleaning staff would make at least one run per night halfway through the shift. One night janitor in particular though was absolutely obsessed. We were working Christmas eve night and as our shift neared its end, I said to him "What are you going to to do, Dan, Tim's is closed for a whole 17 more hours! How will you survive?" He looked at me and in a deadly serious tone he said "No worries, I have 4 extra large black coffees in the fridge at home. I bought them last night." Now THAT'S devotion!
