Our son was attending university in Sacramento, California - many miles from home and a Tim Hortons. Feeling lonely and missing home and our cold winter, we decided to visit him. Before we left Canada, I decided to 'carefully' pack a 'roll-up-to-win' cup and surprise him at our first breakfast in California. While he was away from the table, I exchanged his coffee cup for the Tim Hortons cup. The smile said it all. Oh, by the way ..... he won a cup of coffee. He still reminds us of the surprise and a bit of Canada in California.
