I still remember it. It was my very first curling trip and I was very anxious. I was 12 years old, and it was through my grade seven class trip. Once we arrived we got into our proper shoes, and stepped out onto the ice. The instructors taught us the steps on how to curl. I got into it quite fast. At the end of the day, as we were driving home, my parents took me to Tim Hortons for a drink to warm up, because Tim Hortons is my favorite place to get a good drink. The soothing smell of the coffee was relaxing, so i drifted to sleep soon after. I will not forget my first curling experience.
