I am a native Buffalonian and a self-proclaimed Tim Hortons coffee enthusiast. Currently I attend school in Fairfield Conneticut, a gorgeous town with only one problem: Endless strings of coffee shops, but no Tim Hortons. Day after day I found myself going to these coffee shops and day after day I was disappointed. Finally enough was enough, I confided in my room-mate the reason for my general mopey-ness and she immediately understood, having been introduced to Tim Hortons on a trip to Canada. We immediately decided to find the nearest Tim Hortons to go get a cup of coffee. The nearest Tims is 45 minutes away, so the delicious cup of coffee was just what we needed after the long drive. Realizing that there was no way we could just make this trip once, it is now an almost sacred pilgrimage we make when one of us gets fed up with the second rate coffee. We have even introduced some native Connecticut and Massachusetts people to Tim Hortons as well. So there you have it Tim Hortons, we travel 45 minutes to enjoy a cup of your coffee.
