Halifax 2007 ,I was extremely excited to watch the Kehoe team that my son was curling on win the Provincial Championship Game. This meant that they would be representing Nova Scotia in Hamilton at the Tim Hortons Brier. I along with many others was very proud. This had been a dream come true for these young men.Although my knowledge of curling at this time was very limited I, was going to the Brier . My Son was playing. With all honesty I can not express how thrilling an experience it was to walk into that large rink , feel the excitement and see the ice ,the tremendous crowds ,the colors ,banners, and each team being piped in as they were introduced. It is something I will never forget. The team played with sportsmanship and integrity, gaining both experience and memories to treasure. I am thankful Tim Hortons chose to sponsor The Brier.I even got to meet Minister Harper at the game. Now two years later I am learning how to curl...Who would have thought!!
